Cuban Dissidents Detained, Missing, Over Peaceful Sit-In

With the world (rightly) focused on the situation in Burma, the Castros regime has shortly detained prominent dissident leader Martha Beatriz Roque (pictured below, first from right) and arrested numerous others, some are still missing as of this writing. All of this because of the below peaceful demonstration in front of the Ministry of Justice office to demand amnesty for all the political prisoners and protest brutal treatment they get in jail. Currently, Martha and others are being harassed by the State Security, who are monitoring them from outside their houses. The demo should have gathered almost 200 people, but most were detained in order to avoid joining those who were already there. Read more here.
