Heroes of Our Time

Shoaib Choudhury is not a secularist. He is a devout Muslim who believes that the Qur’an states that Israel was given by God to the Jewish people. His work for interfaith understanding and in opposition to Islamic radicals is heroic. He is currently being tried in Bangladesh for treason, sedition and blasphemy. If he is found guilt of any of these charges he must be sentenced to either thirty years in prison (which would surely kill him) or to death by hanging. He is truly a hero.
