With regards to the non-Muslim students at a Muslim school having to wear a hijab, from what I’ve read, the hijab is a product of Arab political culture, not Islamic text. Furthermore, I went to a Catholic grade school and high school. The non-Catholics were required to go to Mass, but they were not forced to partake in Communion. We also respected their beliefs as well.
I think the Muslims seriously need to reconsider the fact that they’re complaining about the London Olympics over Ramadan. Well, department stores are open on Sundays and restaurants on Christmas Day. Why can’t they close for all Christians? IT’S BECAUSE THE WORLD DOESN’T REVOLVE AROUND YOU!!! GROW UP!!!
